Vampire Dominatrix

So the name for this one makes me giggle. Originally, the inspiration for this look came from the cover of the book Tempted from The House of Night Book series. I read these books over the summer and really enjoyed them, and the newest one came out in October (although I still haven’t gotten around to reading it, FAIL). The book was on my bed and I liked the Dark background of the book cover with the bright lime green the title was written on. I took that, mixed with the dark yet sexy feel vampires have, and came up with this! (the dominatrix part is kind of a joke because I am SOOO not used to using dark lip colors, so the second I put it on I felt like all that was missing was some leather and a whip, lol)

You are one of the few people who can TRULY pull off dark lips without looking ridiculous. You look fantastic with dark lips. I actually prefer them on you more then light lips!

I think it would be really? cool if you did one eye with primer versus another eye without primer, so people can see the difference better.

please dont take this the wrong way… as this is a compliment

but i’ve found that the still images of your looks are almost always much subtler than the YT vids make them seem. this vid look gives off a more dramatic feel, while the still photos look so soft and wearable. both are good and just goes to show what lighting can do to change how makeup looks :D

awesome work. great skill with your blending and color choices.

i hope more people come to check out the pics you have here as after i’ve started to do so i find that the YT vids dont do you enough justice.

    long message is long :-/

    hey,
i know this question is really annoying but i was just wondering what brush the “blending brush”(4mins 27seconds in the youtube for this look).

    thanks in advance,

I love this look and would love to wear it… I’m new to wearing make up so I have no idea how to accomplish it. Any way you can do a tutorial? I have learned alot from your postings. It’s been so inspiring that I’ve decided to find a school that teaches makeup artistry…

    Thanks

So, I always love your makeup looks, but my eyes are hazelish, more like medium brown with a hint of green, so would these really work on my eyes?

I seriously love you for this look! (And yeah, I realize I’m commenting again, but I have something to say/request!)

Would you ever consider doing a tutorial based on the tattoos from the House of Night series? Like, if you were to have vampyre tattoos, what would they look like, would they be sapphire or red, etc. Or recreating one of the vampyre’s (or Zoey’s) tattoos as how you picture them? I think it would be so fun and so creative, and a great way to express yourself, especially if you do what you think your tattoos would look like. :D

I’m pretty sure I’m rambling. Oops! Anyway, I love this look. :D
