Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette Eye Look #3: Coax & Shellshock

By  |  16 Comments

I have been immediately jumping to the bright and the bold with the Vice Palette, so I thought I’d look at some of the softer colors here and do something not so overwhelming!
Fun Story: One of the first eyeshadows I ever got were from Jane Cosmetics, and I had gotten a hot pink shadow and a frosty silver. The directions on the box said to use them with the silver on the lid and the pink in the crease to create a neat look. I did, and I remember getting soo many compliments! This look is in honor of that first eyeshadow look I ever did. :)

I used my NYX Eye pencil in milk as a base, and then from the Vice 2 palette used Habit in the crease, X-Rated in the inner corner of the lid, and then Coax and Shellshock on the lid and blended Habit overtop for a soft cut crease. I also used Shellshock on the inner lower lid. I used Demolition 24/7 Liquid Liner on the lash line, and Twiced Baked 24/7 pencil on the lower lash line. On the waterline I used Desparation 24/7 Eye Pencil, and Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara on the lashes :)

This is beautiful and nice and light. I’m thinking I could do a similar look with my Oz Glinda palette. Thanks!

I was disappointed that you didn’t post the swatches in your Vice2 Palette post. Some of us work in professions where we can’t watch youtube, but I can always look at blog post on my iPhone through Bloglovin. Cora posted swatches so I got to see them in any rate.

Yay this is my favorite look so far from vice 2! I am expecting mine to come Tuesday next week! My boyfriend bought it for my birthday, But I’m tempted to buy the sigma pallette because of all the looks you did for that one. Not sure how many eyeshadows I can handle on top of the many I already own. :)
