Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash- Photos, Swatches

By  |  19 Comments

I looove shadow pencils, which isn’t really a secret, as I’m sure a lot of you know my obsession with NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk! :) Urban Decay has a really cute set of their 24/7 shadow pencils, that come in a nice array of colors, with three easy going neutrals and two bright fun hues. Check it out!

Shadow pencils are great for a lot of things that regular liners can be a bit challenging for- such as using as an eyeshadow base, or, of course, using as an eyeshadow. These set pretty quickly and don’t budge, so if you want to blend them out, be quick about it or you can end up pulling your eyelid!

One thing with these that I have noticed in the past- they tend to dry out a lot quicker than other shadow pencils I have used. They are definitely pretty, and have a beautiful shimmer and glitter to them, but just make sure the cap is on nice and tight before putting these away so you get your moneys worth!

Available for $34 (currently on sale for $19) from Urban Decay.

Do these need to be set like the Nyx ones or can they be used on their own?

Nno… these don’t *need* to be since they dry so quickly and won’t crease like NYX jumbo pencils do! ^_^

I was actually looking at these the other day when I checked out the concealer pencils you posted…it’s very tempting since they’re on sale and I only own regular eyeshadow right now…no pencils!

    These look pretty damn awesome!

When my H.I.P. Cream Crayons dry out I take a lighter to them. Just slightly let the flame lick the end of it, works like a charm! Always keep a lighter handy among my makeups!

I wouldn’t try the lighter trick on glittery products though…looks like Delinquent may have some in it…
