Ulta Haul!

By  |  27 Comments

For some reason, I rarely go to Ulta in Austin. I don’t know why, to be honest, but I have no desire to go to the ones close to my place.. but when I come back to AZ, it’s one of the first things I do. I feel more comfortable at that one, maybe? As weird as that sounds, haha! I feel like I’m constantly getting the “judging you” face at the Austin ones. It’s probably all in my head, though!

Anyways, I haven’t gone shopping for myself in quite awhile, and being around my friends/sister really changed that. My sister Chelsea and I had a really fun time picking out new clothes for me- she is super into fashion (I’m trying to get her to do some guest videos on my channel that are “lookbook” style) and I’m very jeans and tshirt, so I had her help me find some new things to wear :) It was fun, but definitely sparked the shopping bug, hence his Ulta haul! :)

Speaking of bugs, I’m sorry about the Cicada bugs buzzing at the end of this video! They randomly got REALLY loud :(

A color that is very inexpensive that looks amazing & A LOT like the purple polish you showed is Wet N Wild Fast Dry in Buffy The Violet Slayer. I got it at Walgreens in a duo set with a fast dry top coat & it combined was like &2.99. It’s decent too. At least in my opinion. Anyway, just thought you might want to check it out if you like the color enough but don’t want to spend that much money on it.

I totally know what you’re talking about with the “‘judging you’ face”, I feel like I get that every time I go into my local Sephora! And for some reason I always end up going without any makeup on, so they have this look in their eyes like “This girl has no clue”. I do! I just don’t give a crap >:)

I just bought the 24/7 liner in Eldorado as well, and I love it! Probably my favourite liquid liner. I know what you mean about the pink as well. Definitely a gorgeous colour, just seems a little odd for a liner.

Get a Sedu blow dryer! http://www.folica.com/tools/hair-dryers/sedu-revolution-pro-tourmaline-ionic-tgr-4000i-hair-dryer I have two sedu flat irons and have heard great reviews of the blow dryer. I currently have a HAI (also from folica) that has lasted me almost 4 years! I am on the verge of upgrading and if/when I do, it will be a Sedu!

Can’t wait for you to swatch those polishes! 15 bucks is pretty steep for me too! I don’t think I have ever spent more than six on a polish.

By the way, those Butter London nail varnishes are named after very English things, like the Henley Regatta is a rowing even held on the Thames river and HRH stands for His/her Royal Highness, probably cause purple is the “royal colour”

I’ve been using the same blowdryer for about two years now, one of those being a year of beauty school! I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it, and it’s still going strong!

It’s an InfraShine Red Line Pro Ceramic Dryer. I also have the flat iron in the same series and love it!

Hi! I love your videos! You’re always so cheery and fun =)

I think you can get some inspiration for your haircut from Miss Lipgloss. She’s a popular Dutch beautyblogger and I think her hair matches your description quite well. I don’t know if I can put links in here, so just google her & you’ll find her right away ^^ Google translate is win btw

One look I love involves pink eyeliner! Very simple: Just use a very neutral or no colour on your lids, draw a thick line in pink (or a line that is removed from the lashline if you have the skill, which I don’t;P) and then take a black liquid liner and put that over/between the pink and the lash line. It’s very quick and super fun:)

i would recommend getting a babyliss blow dryer. i got a flat iron and blow dryer in a special set, and it was on sale $150 for both. i LOVE them. i was able to get them from cosmoprof because i have a cosmetology license, but you can get them online too. they are top notch quality and i love how the flat iron has a digital screen and adjustable heat. it heats up in less than a minute. the dryer dries hair really fast too, and its light weight. both are the best by far ive ever owned. break your ghd habit; so many girls had them when i was in hair school and they all broke or had other problems!! hope u give babyliss a try!!

I like BaByliss blow dryers. It’s what I use at home and in my shop. Get a friend who’s a hairstylist and then you can get your equipment cheaper. Depending on the person, of course.

I think u shud get a really short bob-pixie cut, with more hair on top. Haven’t tried the croc iron, but ghd is a styler, not a straightner, so there’s a difference there :) (work as a hairdresser), but I might check out croc. :)

And the babyliss have some great blowdriers :) I have a sasson vidal myself, it’s the best ever, but kinda heavy so after a while my arm is killing me. ..
