Time for District 8- Textiles! I decided to ramp up this series by doing something a little more fun and editorial for this District :) I got some lace from the fabric store and played around until I got something I liked! Hope you enjoy!

LOVE IT – it almost looks nautical though – like you are a mermaid with scales – but beautiful regardless! Also loving the new hair color – it is so soft and radient.

I absolutely love this! The eyes are to die for and the lace design is so pretty and fun! I also agree with Sarah above, in that it reminds me of a mermaid, which just makes me like it more! The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie.

OMG I loved the look! But I actually need your help/advice/make-up-artist-skills. How do you take so good close up photos of your eye, with such good lighting? Do you use flash? Do you have some superlight? Do you edit the pictures afterwards? I am asking as a fellow beauty blogger, who is having trouble with her camera. It would mean so much to me if you replied to this (in some way).

PS. It would be so awesome if you could make a tutorial on how to take pictures of your make-up!

Wow! This look is gorgeous. And such a lovely idea as well. I don’t think I could have thought up anything unique for this district. I mean, textiles! There’s no one color to really represent that. ;)
My favorite part of this look is the shimmery green that you put on top of the lace pattern! :D And those lashes are so fun <3

I think you look a lot like Foxface (Jacqueline Emerson) in the movie! And also this look is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see what you will do for the Capitol!! <3

I think this is a very interesting deviation from the others, and the lace stenciling worked out beautifully! The only nitpick I have is I do not in any way like those lashes. To me it looks like there’s a pair of tarantulas glued to your face :x No disrespect to you or your talent, just… can’t get over em’!

Hi Leesha! So Cinco De Mayo (day of the dead) is coming up on May 5th and I was hoping you would be ableο»Ώ to do a cinco de mayo makeup tutorial because there are going to be parties and things and it would be fun to wear. The colors are green, red, and white MOSTLY there could also be like black and gold and there are peppers and skeletons and cactuses and mexican stuff so PLEASE try to upload it before May 5th if possible thanks! VOTE UP OF YOU WANT HER TO DO THIS LOOK!
