The Hunger Games Series- District 3 (Technology)

Can you believe the premiere is next week?? I’m sooo excited. I’m going to the midnight premiere at a local draft house (they serve food and beer while you watch the movie) and they have Hunger Games themed food- Lamb Stew, Basil and goat cheese, Cakes themed around Peeta’s parents bakery.. so cool :D

I also just got my DIP- District Identification Pass. TOTALLY nerdy, I know, but it only cost shipping ($1.25) so why not? :)

Thgdis3 2(you can get yours on their Facebook page!)

Anyways, district 3′s industry is technology. I decided to go a bit steampunk robot with it- silvery and gears and studs and holographic glitter :)

    Love it!
I LOVE the draft house idea too! Super Jealous of that! I’ll be seeing it at my local independent theatre!

that is so cool! i wish we had a place like that in CA that makes it themed. I already saw The Hunger Games movie on monday and it is really good! I’m making my BF read so we can see it at midnight, cuz i really want to see it again lol

I am in love with this! This could totally pass as ‘night time’ makeup. The glitter on the lips is just so clever, so much easier to put on than those lip tattoos!

Make sure the Qr code works on your D.I.P. (if you care, that is). They’ll send you a new one and pay for shipping if it doesn’t.

Love this look! I love the drafthouse! I wish I was going to the premier, but I work nights. Alamo is the only place I’ll go watch a movie now though. They’re awesome!

I like this one a lot, too, along with District 4. I have that glitter…makes me want to put it on my lips, although that may not be the most…practical for the day-to-day, lol. I did your District 9 tutotrial and got lots of compliments! Also, I am super-jealous of your upcoming premiere experience…it sounds awesome!

      D’oh! Tutorial. I hate when I make typos because I usually don’t.
Also, I just wanted to say thank you for this series, as well as all of your other tutorials. I’ve really enjoyed picking up tips and trying out new looks and utilizing all of the cosmetics I spend way too much money on!

I’m from D4, it’s actually in my comment name. I knew I would be. Half my family swims and a quarter of them fish. I wore blue in the picture. I got one even though I’m only 10.

my sisters steampunk, she liked the gears but she didn’t like how much glitter you used, she said you needed more bronze. I thought it was cool though.

    Leesha,

I think there may be a typo in your post regarding the shipping charge for the District ID. When I checked out, the shipping was charged at 1.75, not 1.25 as it says in your post. Not that .50 is such a big deal, but I thought you might want to correct it in your post. Thanks for tipping us off….I’ll be buying cards for both myself and my daughter (and maybe the cute District Panem Canvas Bag……
