Tarina Tarantino Eyelicity Glitter LIner in Black Diamond

By  |  14 Comments

This glitter eyeliner was the one I felt I missed on my last Tarina Tarantino haul! I had gotten the white/pink duo chrome, but decided to hold off on this black one. I don’t know WHY, if I knew I was probably going to go back and get it anyways :) This is one of the better black glitter liners I have seen, check it out!

I love that this has multi-colored glitter, and you can actually SEE it. So often I see brands come out with colors that are supposed to have multidimensional glitter, but it falls flat. The glitter alone isn’t overly opaque as you can see from swatches above, so I definitely recommend using it over a black eyeliner (pencil, liquid after its dried, whatever) so that you really get that awesome shimmer. Technically I’m sure you COULD use it alone and just layer, layer, layer the product, but its a lot easier and saves your liner to just use a black base and then apply.

I’ve been using this when I do cat eyes; I just put it on the wing in the outer corner. It’s unexpected and gives a little different flare than to put it over the entire black liner.

Available for $16 from Sephora.

This is beautiful! I love the multicolored glitter. I have a wet n wild glitter eyeliner, but it’s not nearly as nice.

I like it layered over a black liner! Does it smudge? I have monolids so I can never be too careful.

Oh wow, it kinda looks like the galaxy! So wonderful.
Once I got this essence silver glitter liner, looks amazing on top of a silver or grey liner/eyeshadow. If it’s still available it’s worth checking out. I don’t know how much leesha’s liner costs but it is a great budget liner.

If anyone is looking for a cheaper dupe of this, I have one from nyx that looks great over black liner and can’t be more than 4$ :)

That’s funny, I JUST went to Ulta today cause I had a gift card from Christmas to use up and wanted to take advantage of the 20% off coupon i had gotten in the mail. (yay!) :) So I picked up one of the NYX Liquid Crystal liners in “Crystal Onyx”. It’s beautiful! It’s a black liner with silver glitter, different than the ones ive tried. Even though the glitter is not multi colored, I think it’s a great dupe for the TT one. And it was less than $4.00! :) Oh just an FYI, “Crystal Pewter” is another beautiful one. It’s a light silvery lilac color. Gorgeous! I really like the finer glitter in these! :)

I hate that I live in Sweden, we don’t have any good brands at all. And the once we have are tooooo expensive and bad….
