Sugarpill Cold Chemistry Palette- It’s Finally Here!! (Review & Photos!)

By  |  11 Comments

ITS FINALLY HERE! I am getting SOO excited with these Sugarpill releases lately. It’s been a long time since they have had any new products, and then BAM! Elektro Cute and Cold Chemistry out within a month, and (hopefully) Sparkle Baby early next month. I am super excited about this palette- The packaging is ridiculously awesome and the colors are badass, sparkly cool toned shades.

Soot & Stars makes me think of Khaleesi saying “Sun & Stars” and I know I can’t be the only one thinking that! This is a dark charcoal shade with multicolor glitter and pearl.

Diamond Eyes is a cool white with loads of frost. this is ultra pigmented and very silvery cool toned! I wouldn’t say its a good highlight shade, which is generally what you think of when you see white colors like this- its too pigmented. I think it works better as an eyeshadow you would actually use on your eyes, not just brow bone, and I love that, because I find its kinda rare to find super pigmented white shades.

Elemental Chaos is a darkish, cool toned violet with pearl shimmer. I love, love, love this shade!

Spcoldchemestry 5Subterranean Eyeshadow

Spcoldchemestry 1Subterranean Eyeshadow

Subterranean is a forrest green with a brighter teal shimmer. Absolutely my favorite shade here. The teal shimmer in this really comes through when it hits the light!

Overall, I am so happy and excited for this palette. The shades are pigmented as you can get, apply like butter, and the palette is gorgeous. My only word of caution is that these shadows seem to be kinda soft, so no need to dig your brush in them to get color payoff, as you’ll end up with excess shadow all over, which is a waste and can be messy. Other than that, definitely check this palette out!

Available for $34 from Sugarpill.

    Hi Leesha!
Just wanted to say that I love your blog and videos. I’ve been watching for a few years now and you’re always giving me great ideas. You got me hooked on the NYX shadow pencils :)

I have never had an occasion to test that brand becaause it’s very difficult to procure them in France, but this palette is very beautiful, the eyeshadows was so intense and so reflecting. I give way well.

My favorite shade is Elemental Chaos, hands down, but I love Soot & Stars, too. And yes, it made me think of GoT! :)

They look so beautiful but I just know I wouldn’t get much use out of it! Sugarpill stuff always looks so awesome but I rarely use eyeshadow – devoted liner only girl here – so I need to know that I’ll be using them daily! Such shame as they are soooo lovely.

These look amazing. Can anyone tell me how large/ or small the pan sizes of these are. Are the the same size as Mac or Makeup Forever?
