Stila Lip Glaze Swatches

By  |  18 Comments

My mom has an obsession with Stila Lip Glaze. She says “it’s the nicest thing going! It’s just a bummer it’s so expensive!” When she was here helping me move all my stuff in in August, she spent about an hour going through all my makeup and stole probably 10 lipglosses, a good portion being stila glosses!

A few Fridays ago, Stila had a Friday Happy Hour sale with these sets of mini glosses. It was 2 lip glaze sets for $25, AWSEOME deal, so I bought my mom a set and one for me! You can get it here!

I got the holiday set with eight. I thought these would be better. Not very pigmented. Like Laura said most of them look the same. Good lip gloss, but I didn’t love. Rose and Cherry Pie look good on you though.

I love Stila lip glazes, but they are a little pricy when you don’t buy them in sets…oh well :)

I have the Pinkle Twinkle set and I can assure you these do not look the same in real life! They’re all very different from each other… it’s a good thing, though :D

I like Cherry Pie. I don’t know if it’s because the colors are lighter shades but they look sheer. Some of them look quite similar because of it. Maybe it’s just me..?

I love Stila lip glazes. I just hate the packaging so much. i always feel like I’m wasting so much product. I wish they would put these in a squeeze tube or something.

I love Kitten & Bliss!! I’m not sure I love the applicator though. They seem like they’re kind of over complicated & you’re screwed if they break. What’s wrong with a squeezy tube?! lol

I must say that I am very surprised that there can be a site regarding how to put makeup on. This site gets so many hits, millions and millions. I must admit I am hooked. I even plan to purchase some of the makeup advertised on this site. However I would never drop a ton of cash on lip gloss when I can make it in my kitchen for a few pennies a tube. Lip gloss must be how makeup companies make a ton of cash. I feel like when consumers buy lipgloss the CEO’s are LTAO all the way to the bank.

These were at my local Nordstrom Rack for $8/set, so I was curious to see what they looked like on. Thanks so much for posting swatches! I’m excited to try them myself. (I’d recommend looking there if anyone wants to try them without spending much, as well.)
