Stila Countless Color Pigments: Tie Dye, Finale

I have heard a lot of buzz about the new Countless Color Pigments from Stila, and because of this I really had to purchase a few to try them out :) I almost bought them when I bought the new Smudge Sticks, but decided against it (Bummer, because they were having a 20% coupon I could have used!) I decided to pick up two of them on my latest Ulta excursion, in TIe Dye and Finale.

The idea behind these is to give you an eyeshadow that has four shades that are sort of mixed up like tie-dye, and you have “endless” ways to use it. Here, I’ll let Stila explain-

The colors are all quite pigmented which is awesome, but it is a bit difficult to pinpoint exact individual shadows because of the way they are in the pan. In my swatches I got 3/4 shades swatches by themselves (I should have used a brush to swatch these) and then swatched all shades mixes, and finally swiping straight across to get the multi-shade effect.

Tie Dye includes a bright pink, medium blue, soft purple (not swatched) and a darker purple. I really liked how the multi-streaked swatch looks for this palette!

Finale is probably the warmest of the countless color pigments and includes bright peaches, oranges, pinks and reds. I love the way the mixed swatch looks, an would wear that as well as all of these colors individually. Super fun for summer!

One nice thing about these is that the colors won’t mix overtime in the pan; if you mix all the shades together you can just brush off the top layer of the shadow and it will go back to its original state. These cost $22 each, which is $4 more than a regular Stilla eyeshadow costs. I know you’re getting more colors, but it still is the same amount of product.

Available for $22 each from Sephora and Stila

I love the way it looks in the pan! Unfortunately, I’m too impatient to try to pick the individual colours out to use, so I’d probably just end up sweeping wherever and hoping the colour that came out matched on both eyes xD Cool concept, but not something I would take advantage of.
