Shu Uemura’s newest collection is called Brave Beauty, a collection that is all about being fearless and embracing who you are.. It includes some bright eyeshadows, big bold false lashes, and even metallic face studs!
To me, brave beauty represents not being afraid to go out of the box and try something a bit out of your comfort zone. Being brave with your makeup can be as out there as doing a look like I created below- with feather lashes and face studs, and for others, that may mean incorporating some brightly colored eyeliner into a normally toned down look or adding a bright colored lipstick. Whatever you choose, being brave with your beauty routine can really boost your confidence!
Brave Beauty Collection- Brave Beauty False Lashes, Brave Beauty Pink Palette, Brave Beauty Face Studs, Satin Radiant Stick (Light Pink & Pink), Vision of Beauty- Rouge Unlimited Lipstick (Rose), Lasting Gel Pencil Liner (M Green) Brave Beauty Pink Palette
Brave Beauty False Lashes
Brave Beauty Satin Radiant Stick- Light Pink, Pink
Rouge Unlimited Lipstick- Rose
I was asked to create a look with some of the products from the Brave Beauty Collection that was a little bit edgy.. here’s what I came up with!
This look was really fun to create- I love the lashes and wanted to use the face studs in a way that wasn’t just lining them on the sides of my eyes. I think it kinda looks like a piercing!
Here’s how to get the look-
- Use Brave Beauty Pink Palette on eyes- PK1 on lid, PK2 in outer corner, Pk 4 on browbone/inner corner, PK6 on lash line
- Lasting Gel Liner in M Green was used on lower lash line and smoked out (covered with PK6)
- False lashes applied over Petal Mascara
- Satin Radiant Stick in Pink applied on apples of the cheeks
- Satin Radiant Stick in Light Pink used as a highlighter on cheek bones
- Rouge Unlimited Lipstick in Rose on lips
This look was really simple to create, but is very bold. The eyeshadows are very pigmented in this palette, which is great because it gives you the option of doing something bright and vivid like the look I created, or using a softer blending brush to get a more subdued look.
