The Ariel Collection from Sephora includes a six piece nail set, cleverly titled “Whatcha-Nail-Callit”, and it includes a good variety of colors and textures- shimmers, glitters, flakes, creams, with blues and purple and a coral to balance it out. The nail polishes are all mini sized, so if you’re like me and can never finish a nail polish, its perfect!
We are in Luck Here Nail LaquerWe are in Luck Here Nail Laquer
We are in Luck Here is a bright, creamy coral red. This is one coat of polish, so you can see its really pigmented.

Hotter Under the Water is a creamy dark plum. This is one coat of polish.
Ariel Nail LaquerAriel Nail Laquer
Ariel is a turquoise with loads of multicolor glittery pieces in it. This is two coats of polish, so you would probably benefit from using a similar shade as a base, or upping the polish to 3-4 coats alone.
Off the Hook Nail LaquerOff the Hook Nail Laquer
Off the Hook is a pearly silver chrome. It’s darker than most chrome polishes are in my opinion, and because of the texture you need to be careful with applying to make sure the streaks look even (mine wasn’t done very carefully!) Two coats shown.
Life is in the Bubbles Nail LaquerLife is in the Bubbles Nail Laquer
Life is in the Bubbles is a iridescent glitter with flakes. This is meant to be applied on top of another color, and because of it’s nature it really would look good on top of a lot of different base colors, but polishes with a cream texture would work best. Two coats shown.
Devotin’ to Floatin’ Nail LaquerDevotin’ to Floatin’ Nail Laquer
Devotin’ to Floatin’ is a pearlescent teal with a slight purple duochrome. This shade is a lot like Off the Hook in texture, so applying it carefully is key. Apply thin coats and let them dry in between to avoid streaks like I had! Two coats shown.
Because of the diversity of colors and textures in this kit, I think it’s a nice set, good quality, and worth the price, especially for something like a gift. Regular sized Sephora X Polishes costs $11.50 each, so getting a set of 6 for $24.50 isn’t bad.
Available for $24.50 from Sephora.
