The latest collaboration between Rihanna and MAC Is the new holiday collection. This includes two Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow sets, a bronzing powder, three lipsticks, some glittery liquid liner, a double ended brush and a makeup bag. I have about half of the collection to share with you today! I just checked the website and I guess it got released sooner than I was under the impression it would, but it should be out in stores and counters December 12th, if you are interested in anything.

If I’m being honest, I really don’t like the Pearlfusion shadows from MAC. They look beautiful in the packaging, but apply really sheer for the most part. I feel like you could find something better for the price of these.

I do like the design on this, but the problem here is that with use it will gradually fade away. The R with the shimmer is only on the top, so eventually this will turn into a matte bronzer.

This Eyeliner is probably my favorite piece of this collection. It’s so shimmery and is a really nice warm gold shade. I love liners like this because they can amp up any eye look, weather its a neutral look or full on color or dark and sultry. You can just add a tiny bit into the corners of the eye and totally change how a look is.

Pleasurebomb is a gorgeous bright bubblegum pink matte. This shade is awesome for the texture and color. I like bold mattes because they will last longer and keep there vivid color, and they have less likelihood of feathering.

Because I mixed up the realse dates for online, most of the things here are unfortunately sold out on the website, but should be in stores next Thursday. I’m not overly impressed with most of this collection- It’s pretty, it has beautiful packaging, but nothing screams out “NEED” to me. My favorite thing is the glitter eyeliner, and that is something that is available from lots of other sources.
What do you guys think of this Collection?
