Playdate: MAC Double Feature Blues & Greens

By  |  21 Comments

Wednesday night I was going downtown to meet an old friend from high school who happened to be in town on business, but we had to drop my brother off at the airport beforehand. We had an hour to kill before that, so I decided to play with some of the new MAC Double Feature sets that I had swatched, and then ended up going even more out there with some bright yellow glitter. I wore this in my July Favorites video and got a lot of positive feedback, so instead of just making it a blog post, I filmed a video for it today! Hope you enjoy :)

Okay. I’m African American (and Chinese…but that’s beside the point). I can NEVER find a person who does amazing tutorials like you do (by the way, this look is awesome)!!! Eh ehm…anyway…I don’t have a lot of “nice” makeup, because I don’t use it that often. I mean…I’m not the greatest at experimenting or what not. Like I said before…I can never find someone who is BLACK and can do makeup tutorials like you do!!! You don’t get all bizarre and you’re very detailed in explaining the steps and what you’re using. I love all the information that you share. I just found your site…like…less than twenty minutes. I absolutely love it. The point of me saying all of this, is that you’re AMAZING. Umm…yeah. I just read what I wrote…and it’s ALL OVER the place. Therefore, I’m not sure if there really was a specific “point”.

This is a really awesome, bright summery look! :)

Also wanted to say that your hair is looking really good just lately. The short length really suits you and – I hope this doesn’t sound creepy – it looks so soft! :P Haha.

I love this look! Then again anything sparkly will grab my attention. I also really like darker green colour. So pretty. Also I have to mention your octopus earrings: so funky and cute.
