occprettyboycolorClose up of Mirrorball. It’s AMAZING, can’t wait to play with it!

The Loose Colour Concentrates are gorgeous and apply beautifully both wet/dry. There isn’t a huge difference in how pigmented the colors are between the wet/dry swatches, which is really impressive! The Pure Pigments need to be applied wet or over a sticky base (Like MAC Cream Color Base) to really show up. They are both matte and as you can tell from the swatches above, look beautiful when used with a mixing medium!

Mirrorball, the glitter, is a superfine silver glitter that has a rainbow sparkle. It looks amazing when mixed with a glitter base (I used LIT Cosmetics Glitter Base for the swatch) and I can’t wait to play with it on a super dark smokey eye :)

These will retail for $12 each from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. Available September 6, 2011.

    Mirrorball is eye safe?

    • Kim

I think technically OCC glitters are not eye safe, but I’ve seen people use them on their eyes anyways. *shrugs*

Wow!! All of these colors are amazing! Love them all :)

Poison reminds me of Fyrinnae’s Dragonmagic eyeshadow.

They are all pretty. Not a fan or the mattes though.

Are their mattes easy to work with? Say compared to MAC’s (I hear theirs are very difficult to work with).

After seeing this I’m disappointed in OCC. I can see two colors right off the bat that look like they’re repackaged from TKB Trading. Magenta and Poison. Poison looks identical to Blackstar Green I’m also sure Mirror Ball is repackaged as well.
