Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Plastic Passion Collection- Lip Tars

OCC’s Plastic Passion Collection comes with six new Lip Tars, four of which are a new matte formula. The shades range from light beige shimmers to super bright neon shades. I gotta tell you guys- I’m LOVING these lip tar shades! Whether you like light lip colors, bright shades or some that are out of the box, there’s something for you.

OCCPlasticPasstionLT 11 Hollywood

Hollywood is a light beige with gold shimmer. This applies nicely and is the standard lip tar formula.

OCCPlasticPasstionLT 10 Pleasure Model OCCPlasticPasstionLT 9 Pleasure Model

Pleasure Model is a light pale pink with a bright pink shimmer. Similar formula to Hollywood.

OCCPlasticPasstionLT 8 KimberOCCPlasticPasstionLT 7 Kimber

Kimber is a bright neon orangey coral. This is a matte formula. The matte formula isn’t super matte, as it does have a sheen while the lip tar is wet, but it is much more matte than the regular formulas that have added shimmer in it. This formula also seems to require a little more product than the normal formula, but not much.

OCCPlasticPasstionLT 6 Mannequin

OCCPlasticPasstionLT 5 Mannequin

Mannequin is a bright, blue based pink neon matte. I love the name of this one, fits perfectly :)

OCCPlasticPasstionLT 4 Rollergirl

OCCPlasticPasstionLT 3 Rollergirl

Rollergirl is a bright lavender purple. Another matte with awesome awesome texture.

OCCPlasticPasstionLT 2 Pool Boy

OCCPlasticPassionLT Pool Boy

Pool Boy is an amaaaaazing aqua blue neon matte. I LOOVE this shade, and I really wish blue lips were something more popular! I gotta do a look based around this shade, it’s so cool!

Overall I really am a fan of these new shades, especially the mattes. They feel awesome on the lips and I love the colors. My favorites here are Mannequin and Kimber (as far as wearablility goes- I LOVE Pool Boy and Rollergirl too, I just don’t see myself wearing them as much as the other two!)

Available for $18 from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics February 1st.

How is the longevity on these lip tars? I’ve always wanted to try one because some of the colors are AMAZING (I’m looking at you Black Metal Dahlia) but in pictures they look like they would smudge everywhere or come off completely if you even think about drinking something.

Lip Tars are very long lasting, if you do research on them you’ll see most people get lasting wear through eating and drinking, as long as you use the recommended amount(a pin drop) and don’t apply it like a lipgloss.

I’ve heard that Hollywood and Pleasure Model work well as highlighters as well- have you tried that? And if so, what do you think?

I am not into bright lip shades because I feel I cannot pull them off but those matte colors are on point! I love them all!!!
