New Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencils: Noise & Mushroom

Another addition to Urban Decay’s new products for Summer 2013 are two new 24/7 Shadow Pencils- Noise and Mushroom. One is a vibrant hot pink and the other is a warm pale gray taupe (one of my favorite neutral shades from UD!)

Noise is a bright pink with silver sparkle. I had a little trouble with this one applying super smoothly right from the pencil, but since you would probably blend out the shade on your eyes with your finger or a brush, it really isn’t a huge real.

Mushroom is a warm, pale grey with silver shimmer. I love this color, it’s a really nice shade to just sweep on the lids. I remember when UD had their Cream Shadows this was my favorite one. The shadow pencil is immensely more pigmented than the Cream Shadows, though!

If you’ve never used Urban Decay’s 24/7 Shadow Pencils, Be aware that they have a very high tendency to dry out. I love the consistency of these and the wear, but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve went to open one and see the color inside the pencil is all dried out and shriveled up. No fun! So if you have these, make sure the cap is on suuuuuuuper tightly, otherwise you may have the same issues I have!

These are available for $20 each from Urban Decay. Make sure to check out the other new releases from UD!

Do you find that you have to tug the pencil across your lid with these or is that a sign that they’re drying out? These colors are gorgeous but I purchased a 24/7 shadow pencil in another color and had an awful time with application. After that experience of scraping it across my eyelid, I’ve steered clear of these since. Thanks for any input!!

I love mushroom! That was the first one I ordered with the new releases! Mushroom is my favorite go to shade from UD so I was so excited to get it in the pencil!

No one seems to know but I figure it can’t hurt to keep asking… is the Mushroom Shadow Pencil the same shade as the Mushroom 24/7 eyeliner? They look similar in swatches, but some of the Shadow Pencil swatches look a bit more brown, and some of the eyeliner swatches look a bit more gray/silver.

To me the shadow pencil is just a bit darker than the eyeliner and just slightly has a lil bit more sparkle in it
