One of the newest kits from Sigma is the Spot-On Concealer Kit, and it includes six brushes intended to create a flawless concealer application. These brushes are all sorts of shapes and sizes, from a pin-point itty bitty brush for super precision application, to a large, fluffy brush to diffuse and blend. These are unlike most brushes I’ve seen, especially ones meant for concealing! Check them out below.
F63 Airbrush Blender- Delivers an airbrushed application of concealer for a diffused, well blended finish. This brush looks like an elongated blending brush. Because of the length of the bristles, the brush will work to really soften concealer out nicely.
F64 Soft Blend Concealer- Best for buffing and evening out concealer applied with a light hand on large areas or all-over finish of the face. This is the biggest brush in the kit, and would work best for large areas that need concealing, especially if you needed to use a colored concealer, like a green concealer to even out redness in the face, This will apply a thin, light layer of concealer to a large area, and with colored concealer it can be easy to go overboard, so this brush will be a real asset to anyone who uses concealers like that.
F66 Angled Bluff Concealer- Gives a soft, light to medium coverage under the eyes and around the nose. This brush will be my saving grace once it gets colder, as I always have redness around my nose! Works so perfectly on those hard to get places on the face, like the corners of the nose. Would also work well under eyes.
F68 Pin-Point Concealer- Best for coverage of small spots that need extra concealing. This brush is Tiiiiiiinnnnyyy!! My macro lens on my camera is making this brush look like a lip brush, but trust me, it’s smaller than the tip of a sharpee. Perfect for small red blemishes, as it really is one of the smallest brushes I own. The brush is also pretty dense, so you can use the tip of the brush to pat on concealer exactly where you want it without the brush being flimsy.
F69 Angled Pixel Concealer- Apply concealer in a patting motion for best results on areas such sat the sides of the nose. This brush is a very unique shape. It’s longer and smaller than the angled bluff, and is also a difference bristle material. This brush is great for around the nose for intense coverage.
F71 Detail Concealer- Use with a soft, light sweeping motion for a subtle touch of concealer. This brush is definitely one I wouldn’t put in a concealer kit- I’m so surprised by it! The bristles are very long and sparse, so the brush is super flimsy. It would apply concealer verrry lightly. It would be best to blend out product already on the skin versus applying it and blending it out.
Like I said up top, These are pretty unique! Unique brushes are my favorite, so these would be a great pick for makeup artists especially, and anyone who likes to prefect their skin to a flawless finish.
