Nails of the Day: Crackled Pink Lemonade

Ever since I saw the pink crackle from China Glaze, I wanted to try it over a bright yellow. It’s so pretty, its like pink lemonade! I used my favorite bright yellow cream, Illamasqua Wayward, which applies beautifully and is a great taxi cab yellow in just two coats. I wanted to add a bit of shine to show through with the yellow, so I used one coat of China Glaze Lighthouse over the yellow, which is a sparkly gold jelly. Last, I applied the China Glaze Broken Hearted Crackle polish, very sheerly and in all sorts of directions to get the different effects on the nails.
I really liked the way this turned out! Bright polishes look so fun peaking out of the crackles.

This is so pretty! Where do you buy your China Glaze from? I’d love to purchase some, but I haven’t seen them anywhere but online.

actuallly leesha i did calculations for head2toe, and if u had the nail polish prices and shipping together, and divide by the number of polishes u are buying, u REALLY are paying the same price! lol i swear u can do that calculations urself. i was surprised cuz i also thought i was getting them at a bargain

I think it all depends on how many you buy though and from what site. Some have minimum shipping charges which could essentially make them more expensive than going to Sallys or buying from a salon. I just got 12 polishes from 8ty8beauty for about 3.80 each including shipping. So for me, it worked out :]

A bit late commenting on this, but I just used China Glaze Papaya Punch with Broken Hearted and it looks similar, but more like pink orange juice instead of lemonade LOL!
