Mini Sephora Haul

By  |  23 Comments

Today I went makeup shopping with my UPS girl Charlee. She’s a super sweet girl who loves watching youtube videos, but can’t seem to get out of the basics as far as looks go (she has an obsession with MAC’s Satin Taupe, to put you in perspective!) She wanted to go makeup shopping just to hang out and see what I liked, not necessarily to change her style (although she does want to learn how to do more than just light lids/darker crease). We went to Sephora and looked around, and here’s what I ended up picking up!

At this point, I just have sooo so much makeup that I have a hard time buying something that isn’t really unique. The products I bought today kinda show what I mean, as they include a red eyeliner and really cool 3D glosses, two things you don’t see everyday!

The first thing I grabbed is something that I have been eyeing for a long time- Makeup Forever Aqua Liner #10. This is a vivid red sparkly liquid eyeliner that is super long-wearing.

I think this will be fun, especially for upcoming Halloween tutorials :) I’m excited to play with it!

Next thing I saw were these Lorac Multiplex 3D Lipglosses. They are so awesome! The shades I got are Untamed (orange) and Vivid (pink) They have a really great duo chrome in them that I love.

I can’t wait to use these more, especially the pink one! I put it on over my lip color today (Which is OCC Queen Lip Tar, it’s new and gorgeous bright pink!) and it looked awesome! The green is really cool, and they’re not sticky at all :)

Last but not least, I decided to get Perfetto Eyeliner from Tokidoki. It’s a white liquid eyeliner pen. Nothing special, but I thought this would come in handy in tutorials for inner/outer corner liner :)

(I didn’t even swatch this one, it’s just your basic white eyeliner pen!)

And that’s it! :) Have you tried any of these products? Thoughts?

How does the red eyeliner look? Is it super flashy, like “POW RED LINER”, or is it like, “Oh, she is wearing red liner”?

The red liner looks cool but I had really bad luck with the new MUFE liquid liner. Their liner was my absolute favorite and when they changed the formula I thought I’d give it a chance. It flaked off my face in a matter of hours, it looked like I was crying ash. NOT cool. Now I’m using Kat Von D’s liner and I’m a fan. But the red looks neat, can’t wait to see what you’ll do with it. +1 vote for a smoky red look.

    OMFG, A RED LIQUID EYELINER?!
    Goddamn!
I basically only do red and black eyes – That’s the most requested when I do my friend’s (both guys and girls) make-up. So this would be a great somethingsomething to have!
Do you know if this is available in Norway?

You need to try Lorac’s 3D Multiplex Lash mascara, it’s freaking incredible! It’s the only mascara I use anymore.
