Makeup Playdate: Tropical Glitter

By  |  26 Comments

So after two fails (looked good in person, looked bad on camera) I finally have a playdate to show you that I like :) It’s bright and tropical and glittery, so hopefully you guys will like it as well! I have been wanting to play with the Sleek Makeup Curacao palette since it arrived in the mail, and it didn’t disappoint :) Enjoy!

Wow, I really must try this one.
I just love how the colours apply, I have the Acid palette and just love it, I tried a rainbow raver look (inspired off one of your videos) with the Acid neons and just love how the colours pop.

This is rainbow raver: thank you for your informative tutorials

This is beautiful! I usually dont like all the colored eyeshadows, especially at my age haha. However, I’d like to have a ‘makeup playday’ and see what I could come up with on myself!
You’re so pretty even without the makeup. :)

Damn! This would work as a Harry Potter look–all of the house colours are in the look! (Well, not all, but I’ll explain.) If you opted for more of a green shadow in the crease as opposed to the purple/black colour, you’d have the Slytherin Green. In the center of the lid, you’d have Hufflepuff Yellow. And if you used that same red colour on the inner corner as well as the outer corner, you’d have Gryffindor Red… :D God, I’m sorry–I’m geeking out. But seriously, you could use this whole pallet and make a HP House look :D

Wow, absolutely stunning. I had to watch it without the sound because of my computer, but I still enjoyed the video. This look is so gorgeous. I wish I had the confidence to wear your colorful looks. They’re beautiful. I love that you managed to use so many colors for the look without making any of it muddy. I think my favorite part is the waterline color. It really pulls it all in. Great job, Leesha. <3

    Yay that’s super pretty!
I’ve been waiting for more colourful things and I love this one.
I’ll wear it even though it’s freezing and winter down in Tasmania right now (-7 in some parts). Bit out of season for me but oh well :)
    Thanks Leesha

I love it when you do these kind of rainbow looks!

Of course for most people, we wouldn’t wear it every day, but I think it’s really creative and fun for a special occasion. All the colours together look so beautiful! Thanks for sharing this with us! :)

Hey, you use MAC lip gelees in some of your videos, and I was wondering, you can’t get them on the MAC website, but can you get them in store? I’m not near one so I can’t check myself.
