Makeup Geek Gel Liners- Rave, Twinkle, Poison, Amethyst, Electric, Face, Mystic

By  |  10 Comments

Marlena of Makeup Geek was kind enough to send me some products from her Makeup Line- at the end of last year. Unfortunately that was also the time I was moving from the condo I was living in into the house I am at now, and these got put somewhere and forgotten about. When I was organizing a month back I found them and got super excited and now I’m FINALLY getting photos for you, even though many of you have probably already seen these. These are all still available on her site, so it’s still technically relevant :)

Rave is an olive green with gold shimmer. Loads of gold shimmer, at that!

Twinkle Gel LinerMUGgelliner 11Twinkle Gel Liner

Twinkle is a slate gray with shimmer.

Poison Gel Liner

MUGgelliner 12Poison Gel Liner

Poison is the definition of “plot twist” because um I know I wasn’t expecting a freaking ridiculously awesome red liner when I opened this! In the pot it looks very maroon but it sure as hell doesn’t swatch that way. Love this!!

Amethyst stays true to its name with its color. Deep violet with a lighter purple shimmer.

MUGgelliner 7Electric Gel Liner

Electric is a seriously badass cobalt blue that I want all over my face.

MUGgelliner 8Fame Gel LinerMUGgelliner 15Fame Gel Liner

Fame is a gorgeous deep blue green with shimmer. This color is making me want to paint a wall. Maybe next time I paint I’ll use this as inspiration.

Mystic Gel LinerMUGgelliner 16Mystic Gel Liner

Mystic is a sea foam green with gold shimmer. I wish this was a bit more opaque like the rest of the liners, but it isn’t too bad.

I love Marlena because she is bringing gorgeous products at really great prices. I’m really excited to play with these, especially Poison as I can’t think of another company with a gel liner quite like that (I know Inglot has a red, but I have never been happy with Inglot’s liners- they dry out in half a second!)

Available for $7.99 from Makeup Geek.

Poison is awesome for a twist on the pin-up look. I always wear it winged with matching lipstick. Their eyeliners are my favourites and they never budge.

I bought Mobster and I love it! I had had so many problems finding a good proper dark brown gel liner that worked for me, and it is just perfect.

It would be really helpful if you’d report on how the products wear, as well as providing swatches.
