MAC Surf Baby! My Paradise Cheek Powder, Lush-Light Bronze Studio Careblend: Swatches, Photos

MAC Surf! Baby includes a gorgeous peachy blush with a gold hibiscus flower overspray, along with lots of bronzing products, including Studio Careblend/Pressed Powder compacts that give your skin a creamy sun-kissed glow.

**EDIT** I originally said that the Creamblend was Gold-Go-Lightly, it’s actually Lush-Light Bronze. Sorry about this!

First off, I absolutely LOVE the way that My Paradise looks, both with and without the overspray (which is good, considering it won’t last long!) It’s such a gorgeous peach! My swatch is pretty strong, so it can definitely be applied sheerer on the cheeks.

Lush-Light Bronze is a Careblend, which I have never heard of/used. It’s a pressed powder but almost feels like a soft cream and blends really nicely! This particular color would be great for girls with my skintone, or maybe just a bit darker, to use as an all-over bronzer.

These will be available for $28 each May 26 from MAC Cosmetics.

I prefer the way My Paradise looks without the overspray. Is it just a thin layer that’s easily wiped away or will it be there for more than one use?

if you use a brush the overspray would probably last maybe 5 uses? but if you took a tissue and wiped it you can easily get rid of it

I’m italian and one week ago I was able to purchase My paradise… I really like it (In the beginning I thougt I didn’t need it) and it’s very different from Bite of an apple (pinker) and it is less bright and pink than virgin isle^^ a true coral!!!

My Paradise is GORGEOUS with the overspray, so the fact that it doesn’t stay is just… wrong. It’s like a sample size of a product that is no longer available. Lol. I wonder if a company has a dupe that’s around that color.

The gold-go-lightly powder is seriously calling my name, but I was wondering how it compares in color to NARS laguna? I know the most obvious difference is laguna contains shimmer and this appears matte, but in terms of color are they similiar? I’m trying to convince myself that I don’t need this product haha thanks! :)

i think gold-go-lightly would be too dark for me, as i’m a shade lighter than you..[yeah if you thought you were pale, you haven't seen me! haha] overall i loved the collection, and i would buy a lot of things from it haha

My Paradise cheek is already available in the uk, but it already sold out! Very gutted. I’m gonna have to go to a mac store and hunt! Is the Coral ok on your pale skin? Cause i have pale skin too and find some bright colours like that can look coco the clownish.

I prefer with the overspray, but you say it will not last for many product uses … what is the point? I won’t be wasting my money if the effect that I prefer is short lived.

I wonder if gold-go lightly would be too light for my skin tone as a bronzer???? (i have the same skin tone as u do). Any chance u know? (or anybody please?)

**SCREAM** so i’m just now finding out about this Surf Baby Cheek Powder and apparently it’s sold out everywhere. It’s going for 60 bucks on Ebay. Never even contemplated spending more than $30 on blush, but this looks irresistable!
