By FAR, Candy Yum-Yum is my favorite lip product out of the ones shown. It’s neon, bright, and awesome. It’s also a matte formula, but isn’t as drying as matte lipsticks tend to be; on the lips it actually feels more like a satin lipstick.

Playing Koi acted more like a matte than a satin for me, but for my taste its a bit light. For me to wear this I’d need to use a lipliner that was just a bit darker on the corners of my lips to give the lips a bit more dimension, because i feel alone this lip color makes them look really flat and washed out against my skintone.

Quite Cute is super sheer. I’ve never used the Cremesheen formula, but the results are very sheer, which works with this particular color. I wouldn’t want to wear this alone if it was more opaque, but at this level it’s actually really pretty on the lips!

I ♥ U Plushglass is sheer like most Plushglass. I’m not big on lip plumpers in general, but Plushglass is definitely one of the least painful. It reminds me of getting novocain at the dentist haha.

The lipliners are MAC Standard. I thing In Synch would work really well for a nude lip to last for a long time!

These will be available from MAC Cosmetics starting April 7th.

For anyone looking for a light purple lipstick:
Lime Crime has two that are much more opaque than “Quite Cute” from Mac.

How close do you think candy yum yum is to anime occ lip tar? is it worth having both? it looks slightly more purpley in the pic but it might just be the photo.

Those lipsticks look a lot like the Lime Crime lipsticks in the tube. On the lips I’d say they’re much more sheer. Interesting.

Can you do a look with a lavender lip? I’ve been seeing the color around lately and want to wear it out…i assume its more of a nighttime look? I dunno, wondering what you might come up with

I will get mine (my Candy Yum Yum) thursday and the lip pencil in Boldy Bare. It just out in France so I’m glad to have it this week. I agree with you, for the lip pencil, as Trimmed in Pink is not repromoted, magenta appears to be the best lip pencil for Candy Yum Yum. C’est tout (that’s it). Voilàààà
