MAC has a new collection out called Fashion Sets, and it includes 4 colors in 5 different products. Each color comes in an eyeshadow, nail polish, lip liner, lipstick, and lip glass. The first color I have for you is called Embrace me, and is a Fuchsia.

Embrace Me Lipstick is a matte bright creamy fuchsia. Although it is a matte is has a smooth texture that isn’t skippy and hard to apply. It feels more moisturizing than mattes usually feel.

Embrace Me Lip Pencil is a super bright fuchsia pink liner. This isn’t the creamiest liner at all, i can imagine it being somewhat of a pain to apply. However, because of that it would definitely last a lot longer than a creamier, easier to apply liner.

Embrace Me Lipglass is a bright fuchsia with blue reflects that is less pigmented than the lipstick and lip pencil. I actually like it because of that!

Embrace Me Eyeshadow is a soft pink satin. I wish this was brighter like the lip products, but I definitely understand from a selling point why it isn’t. This has lots of pigmentation and applies nicely.

Embrace Me Nail Polish is a cream fuchsia. You all know my opinion on MAC nail polishes- MEHHHHHHH. Streaky and overpriced. Pass.

Unlike what the name Fashion Sets might make you think (at least it’s what I thought) these are not sold as a set, but individually. Overall I like this particular shade and I think the idea of having different products with the same shade is interesting, but a bit overkill when three of those products go on your lips. At least the Lipglass isn’t super pigmented, that way you can tone it down by wearing it alone or have super glossy bright lips when paired with the lip pencil or lipstick.

Prices
Lipstick: $15
Lip Pencil: $15

Has anybody ever told you how good you are at applying nail polish? It looks so neat and every spot is covered perfectly without any mess on your cuticles and skin. i like!

This is a cool concept, but it is a little weird that they aren’t sold as part of a set.
