Guest Look: Cookiefarrer

Hello, Lovelies!

My name is Cookie, and I am a makeup junkie from the sunny (and
humid!) land of Florida. With eyes that are small, and also always
hiding behind glasses, I am always looking for ways to make sure they
don’t get lost in the shuffle. I love to play around with dramatic eye
looks–and I rarely go out of the house without my usual winged

One of the things I find most inspiring in makeup is the creative use
of color, and I can think of nothing more beautiful (even if it is a
little intimidating) than a cut crease. For those of us with smaller
eyes, it can really be a challenge! I have come up with an easy way to
rock this look, and I am so excited to share it with you!

GLCookieThe key to this look is to work in the reverse order, applying shadows
from lightest to darkest, mapping out exactly how much space you have
to work with. I have found that this method works for many eye shapes,
including hooded eyes and monolids. I am using some pretty vivid
colors in my version, but you can always tone it down by using
neutrals if you prefer.

Here are the products I am using in the eye tutorial:
– Too Faced Shadow Insurance
– Ardell Brow Pencil in Dark Brown
– Scotch Tape
– MAC 217 Tapered Blending Brush
– Maybelline Color Explosion Palette in #20 Blue Blowout (three darkest shades)
– MAC 226 Tapered Blending Brush (Sigma’s E45 also works perfectly
since this has been discontinued)
– Maybelline Define-A-Line Pencil in Navy Blue
– EcoTools Small Crease Brush
– Kat Von D True Romance Palette in True Love (lightest white/blurple
duochrome shade)
– NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk
– Sleek Acid Palette (magenta)
– Loew Cornell 1/4″ Maxine’s Mop Paint Brush
– Claire’s Glitter Palette
– Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner in Black
– Sonia Kashuk Bent Eyeliner Brush
– Revlon Grow Luscious Eyeliner Pencil in Onyx
– Ardell #105 Lashes
– Revlon Lash Adhesive
– MAC Haute & Naughty Mascara

On my face, I have applied:
– Dinair Airbrush Foundation
– Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Blush in Pink Booster
– Rimmel Bronzer in 022 Sun Bronze
– Milani Lip Flash Pencil in Flashy
– Jordana Lip Gloss in Watermelon Juice

Thanks so much for checking this out. I hope it was helpful!

Really great tutorial. It is quite difficult working with a smaller eye shape and still getting the variations of color that you were able to achieve. Awesome!

My developer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.

But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on a number of websites for about a year and am
nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about

Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it?

For musical comedy fans, ‘Glee’ is the most effective television drama. In case you were late on the last show, it can be watched by you from hyperlinks that are online. There is no need to worry about lacking them on TV when all exhibits that are well-known are available on the internet in High Definition quality.
