Galaxy Chic Eyeshadow Palette from BH Cosmetics- SPACE THEMED SHADOWS!

I saw this palette from BH Cosmetics a couple weeks ago on their Facebook and haaaaaaad to have it! I love space themed things, so this was a no brainer. Eighteen baked eyeshadows that are all galaxy oriented, and are shimmery, gorgeous shades!

If you’ve never used baked eyeshadows, they are a little different than your regular pressed shadows. they are softer, and usually are very shimmery. You can also use them wet, which you can’t really do with a regular pressed eyeshadow (it will create a hard film on top of the shadow) and when you use these wet, the color payoff is really great! Baked eyeshadows are also cool because a lot of the time they have veining of a different color throughout, so they are gorgeous to look at in the pan. It makes them really fit the space theme here :)

Galaxy Chic 36Galaxy Chic 35 Sun: warm gold with red veining.  Swatches to a very warm, almost light orange gold.

Galaxy Chic 34Galaxy Chic 33Jupiter: medium reddish pink shimmer.

Galaxy Chic 32Galaxy Chic 31Prometheus: Icy white with dark red veining. Swatches to an icy white with red tones.Galaxy Chic 30Galaxy Chic 29Aphrodite: Deep red with pink shimmer.

Galaxy Chic 28Galaxy Chic 27Milky Way: Icy white with light pink shimmer. Swatches to an icy pink.Galaxy Chic 26Galaxy Chic 25Cosmic: lilac shimmer.

Galaxy Chic 24Galaxy Chic 23Saturn: Gold with pink shimmer. Swatches to a warm gold with red undertones.

Galaxy Chic 22Galaxy Chic 21Venus: Bright true orange.

Galaxy Chic 20Galaxy Chic 19Meteor: Icy white with light blue veining. Swatches to a bright, silvery white with a blue undertone.

Galaxy Chic 18Galaxy Chic 17Comet: Aqua Shimmer.

Galaxy Chic 16Galaxy Chic 15Earth: Lots of veining of white, blue, and a light blue. Swatches to a sky blue shimmer.Galaxy Chic 14Galaxy Chic 13Neptune: navy blue shimmer.

Galaxy Chic 12Galaxy Chic 11Mercury: Reddish brown with white veining. Swatches to a really unique light shimmery brown.Galaxy Chic 10Galaxy Chic 9Mars: Coppery red shimmer.

Galaxy Chic 8Galaxy Chic 7Asteroid: Really interested mix of brown and blue. Swatches to a taupe with blue undertones.Galaxy Chic 6Galaxy Chic 5Uranus: icy blue shimmer.

Galaxy Chic 4Galaxy Chic 3Moon: Another really unique shade! White and blue base with reddish brown veining. Swatches to this weird color I don’t even know how to describe- purple taupe shimmer crazy weirdly amazing?

Galaxy Chic 2Galaxy Chic 1Eclipse: Deep eggplant shimmer.

Sometimes with baked shadows, you’ll see colors that look crazy badass amazing in the pan, but when swatched all those colors mix into a really, not so appealing shade. I am really happy that all of these swatch nicely! These apply really well too, nice and evenly, especially when used wet. Overall for the price, I think this is a steal.

Available for $14 from BH Cosmetics.

Thanks for sharing, I hadn’t heard of this one before you posted about it. I just went and purchased it! Couldn’t pass it up, looks lovely. $14 is great, but the $8 shipping is not so great, ha.
