Fyrinnae Eyeshadow Swatches

Incase you aren’t in the know, Fyrinnae is a Makeup brand sold specifically online that is a huge success on the online beauty community. I remember waaay back in the day, when I first got into makeup communities like Specktra and Mac_Cosmetics on Livejournal, this brand being talked about, but under the name Bombshell Bath. I remember buying some of their shadows (a few that are still on the site today, like Digital Faerie!) And Looooooving them! I remember having an old picture of me on their “fans” page showing a look I had created too :)

This was quite a few years ago, and since then the company has changed the name and really expanded their product lineup. Generally I’m not a huge fan of online makeup companies, because for the most part (NOT always, but generally) it’s either makeup they bought from a seller such as TKB Trading and just slapped on their label, or its colors that are not unique. Fyrinnae is really an exception.

These colors are SO unique. They sparkle like nothing I have ever seen, and my camera couldn’t capture nearly how pretty they are in person. These were swatched over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy.

I got these mid-february, and have meant to post about them abotu 3 times now and every time I go to, their site is down (like right now, as I type this!). And thus, I bring you to the downside of Fyrinnae. The colors are amazing, but because they don’t have many people working for them, the process/ship time is around 20-25 business days. The process/ship time alone is why I put off buying from them for so long, so If you plan to make an order I suggest you make a decent sized one so if you like what you got you aren’t wanting to get more right away!

Also, I definitely recommend getting the samples. Fyrinnae is cool because they offer really decent sized samples for everything they have, and theyre less than $2 each. You can see in the comparing picture above, the sample size really has a good amount for the price!

I’m so glad to see this! I visited them a while back and they were closed and i completely forgot. I remember them from years ago; I’m going to place a few sample orders. I hope the creator gets help; the colors are beautiful and I know they could go really far as a company.

Love Fyrinnae- they truly do have some of the most unique shades out there, and despite the shipping times, the customer service is always tip-top.

Fyrinnae is always upfront about how long your order will take (and lets be honest, a lot of online indie companies take a while to ship, they just aren’t as honest about it!) and will not let sales rack up to an unreasonable volume- as much of a pain as it is when they shut down the site, they do it so that they can concentrate on filling existing orders and servicing customers, so I respect that.

And I’m hoping you’re planning on reviewing the Pixie Epoxy- it’s a truly unique product, and one that could definitely be the company’s claim-to-fame!

Could you show omgwtf next to absinthe (sugarpill) as well as dragon magic and junebug (sugarpill) they look similar and i’d hate to get an accidental dupe.

Futuristic Glamrock is a favorite of mine. Sleepy Hollow is awesome, as is OMGWTF. Catrina Cabaret is such an unusual shade to me. I love the quality of their shadows, the pixie epoxy is a holy grail item for me, and I really adore the lip lustres too. Oh! And the velvet-gel silica face primer is great :)

futuristic glamrock is by far my favorite, and i was sooo upset that it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to have it photograph nearly a tenth of how gorgeous it is in real life!

I really want to buy from Fyrrinae, but last I checked the shop was down so they could catch up with their orders.

I just placed my third order with Fyrinnae and I am so excited to try my new colors. I honestly don’t mind waiting for the orders. The colors are so complex and multidimensional they make my MAC shadows look downright boring! I love that they offer samples in jars and the prices are on par with drugstore but the quality is immensely better. Also, Pixie Epoxy is literally a must-have if you like loose shadows, it makes colors look amazing and reduces fall-out enough that even clutzy me can look like a master!

    Leopard Print Galaxy is awesome!
Fyrinnae was the start to my makeup madness, I think I saw pictures of the pots on Flickr and I was like, “I HAVE TO HAVE THESE!”

wow, these really ARE unique and multi-dimensional. very beautiful. but despite the good reviews, i’m hesitant to buy from any seller that will make me wait nearly a month to receive my order. hopefully they expand their business soon to better serve their customers.

I really wish they had a way to show the beautiful colors, products and prices even when they are not taking orders. I can’t see them at all at the moment… :(. OMGWTF, and Dragonmagic both look amazing.

Have you ever tried to press any of their eyeshadows? I love loose eyeshadows but they take up so much space when you’re on the go…just curious if these work well pressed!

Im also curious, how well is the pigmentation and finish when you press loose shadows?

Sometimes I hate you just as much as I like you :P nothing bad, you just make me want so many things that it would be totally unhealthy for my bank account ^_^
