FIRST LOOK: Urban Decay Ocho Loco 2 24/7 Eye Pencil Set!

Another really excited edition to the new holiday lineup from Urban Decay is Ocho Loco 2! Last year UD released a set of 8 full sized 24/7 liners in a limited edition set, and because of how popular it was, they decided to do it again! This set includes 8 liners, 5 of which are exclusive to this set. You also get a Grindhouse pencil sharpener, which- believe me, is the best sharpener money can buy (and it does cost money, that thing retails at $10 alone!)

UDOchoLoco2 1 UDOchoLoco2 2 UDOchoLoco2 3 UDOchoLoco2 4 UDOchoLoco2 5 The colors here seem to be split in half- half dark, traditional liner shades in varying brown and blacks, and half fun, vivid jeweltones. Honestly, you really can’t be unhappy with that mix! UDOchoLoco2 6Roach: deep copper brown shimmer. This is a nice way to brighten up a dark smokey eye. Using a bit of this on the lower lashline adds a nice pop without being too out-of-the-box! UDOchoLoco2 7Twice Baked: Rich brown satin with gold sparkle. I gotta be honest- am I the only one that immediately thinks of Twice Baked Potato when I read this? Yes? okay. Anyways, this is an exclusive shade and is a nice warm brown. UDOchoLoco2 8Crave: Darkest brown-black matte. Another exclusive. For those days when black eyeliner is just a little too much. UDOchoLoco2 9Perversion: Blackest black matte. My love. This kit is worth it for this pencil alone.UDOchoLoco2 14Roach, Twice Baked, Crave, Perversion

UDOchoLoco2 10Deep End: Bright metallic peacock shimmer. I probably don’t even have to explain to you how amazing this shade is! I love peacock tones like this, and with the consistancy of 24/7 liners there’s no going wrong here. UDOchoLoco2 11 Mars: Metallic green shimmer. Absolutely stunning. This has a bit of a blue tone to it as well, its really a unique shade. Another exclusive shade. UDOchoLoco2 12Ultraviolet: Blue-violet shimmer. My favorite of the bunch. This is a fantastic eyeshadow base for blue based duochrome shadows as well! Exclusive Shade. UDOchoLoco2 13Tornado: Dark eggplant pearl. Love the dark base with the brighter pearl added to it, so pretty! Another exclusive shade. UDOchoLoco2 15Deep End, Mars, Ultraviolet, Tornado

This set is so great. Like I mentioned, I really love that it has both standard, go-to browns and blacks, but also has some amazing jeweltoned colors. I love this set because for a makeup junkie like myself, I get the necessary shades and the ones that immediately catch my eye. For a makeup newbie, or someone who usually stays in the same makeup routine, its a great way to incorporate color subtly, with a little bit on the lashline or lower lid. The fact that it comes with the Grindhouse Sharpener is what really seals the deal for me. Oh, and if you have never used 24/7 Eye Pencils before- they are the creamiest, most amazing Eye Pencils out there. Amazing color range, and once they set, they are good for the day. Long wear and waterproof. If you are thinking about trying them, this is the set to get!

Available for $59 from Urban Decay.

Awesome, I’m tempted to get it just for the exclusive shades— however, I did purchase the Ocho Locho set from last year, and also the eyeliner vault back in May…. I’m not sure I need more liners, and some of these are only subtly different… However, it is always tempting to purchase Holiday collectons… I might just end up getting one of everything and stash the OL2 away… I seen on Ebay after a while they were going for a LOT of money…

I love how there’s a shade in each of the holiday eyeliner sets that are eyeliner versions of Oz shadows :3 West (from the Theodora palette) and Tornado (from the Glinda palette) <3
