FIRST LOOK: Urban Decay Face Case: Shattered

If you were an Urban Decay fan back in the day, you may remember the original Face Case, which was UD’s first palette ever! This time, they’ve created two Face Cases that include just about everything you would need to create a complete look on the go.

This is the Shattered Face Case- Check out the Anarchy Face Case here!

UDfacecaseShattered 22UDfacecaseShattered 21UDfacecaseShattered 20UDfacecaseShattered 19 The Face Case design is to be compact, with a double layer design that has eye products on top, and cheek and lip on the bottom.

UDfacecaseShattered 17 The Lip color fits in the back, which is open on the top portion so when you lift the top part up, it stays in place at the bottom. Sounds weird in writing, but this keeps the case as slim as possible.

UDfacecaseShattered 16 Nameless Eyeshadow (Exclusive Shade): Medium-gray brown satin.I love that it isn’t overly shimmery, would be great blended around the lash line!UDfacecaseShattered 15Remix(Exclusive Shade): Rich purple shiner with tonal micro-glitter. This is a great pop of color for this kit- its a dark shade but gives a little something more for an eye look.UDfacecaseShattered 14Shakedown(Exclusive Shade): rich brown gunmetal satin. Super lush feel with this shadow and a great daytime smokey color.

UDfacecaseShattered 13Minor Sin(Exclusive Shade): Champagne-pink Satin  I’m so glad this isn’t overly shimmery! Just a touch of shimmer, so it would work nicely as a brow highlight, on the lid.. even as a cheek highlight!

UDfacecaseShattered 12Bleach(Exclusive Shade): Yellow-beige matte. First of all, I’m not sure why this is called bleach because if you bleach something and it looks like this, you need new bleach. Other than that, this is a standard matte highlight, which is always a necessity for me!

UDfacecaseshattered 2.jpg24/7 Eye Pencil in Zero: black cream. Kind of a charcoal. I like this better used on the lid than on the waterline.

Face Case seems like the perfect solution for travelers, or anyone who doesn’t have the time to sit down and do their makeup at home everyday. There is just about everything you need all wrapped up in some cute packaging- just this, some mascara and a couple brushes and you’re good to go! The main difference between this Face Case and the Anarchy one is a softer lip and a little more color in the shadows. Another plus is that if you have any other Super Saturated Lip Colors or travel size pencils, you can just switch out the shades in here and get an entirely different look. Love the idea here, especially for on the go makeup lovers :)

Available for $44 from Urban Decay

Could you demo a neutral/every day look and then a going out look with the face cases? That would be super awesome! I’m inclined to buy the palettes for travel, but I probably would end up doing the same look over and over…
