Fierce Friday: April 16th

So today’s Fierce Friday is definitely aimed at those of you who are planning to go to Prom in the next month or so and are planning to do your own makeup. When I do my sister and her friend’s makeup for dances, this is always one of the most requested looks to do (whether it’s black or another color, high school girls love their smokey eyes!) I made this video much more talkative than normal I think, and I really tried to explain things in more detail. Let me know if you guys like that more, or if you rather I shut up and just watch the tutorial, haha.

I love the way you provided more explanation at the beginning of your video than you usually do. It is *extreeeeeeeeemely* helpful when you give information about your brush and product choices. It helps me understand how to select similar brushes and products that I have at home, since I rarely own the same things you do, My makeup collection needs some work. : )

I also love the way you describe the techniques needed to create depth, when to use dark colors verses light colors makes sense when you give the info about your choices that you do in this video.

You also did a great job of answering my questions about matte, shimmer, and glitter, and when to use what.

Please continue to talk as much as you did in this video. Learning makeup with a tutorial that is both visual and auditory is wonderful. : )

    Thank you so much Leesha!

I love how you did the smokey eye look. I seen others try to do smokey looks and it looks like they have a black eye and is very messy. Great job. I really like this look.

Hey, i was just wondering i know i am on the wrong page too leave a comment bout this.
but im going to a fancy dress in 2 months, as the queen of hearts i was just wondering if you by any chance, could make a makeup tutourial on a sexy queen of hearts, iv tried my self but i can never get it right.

That would be really interesting…. a sexy take on it. There is a good tutorial out there for a makeup look based on the Carter character in the recent Burton adaptation. But, that is strictly a costume look and remains very true to the film. There are certainly enough sexy Queen of Hearts costumes out there for Halloween. Can that character be made sultry? She’s hideous and dreadful in the book’s original illustrations and so pathetic and silly in the new movie. SEXY would be a fresh new spin. : )

Good luck with your costume. :)
