Bh Cosmetics Eyeshadow Pro Palette Swatches

By  |  23 Comments

BH Cosmetics recently came out with this cool system on their website where you can make a custom palette filled with eyeshadows of your choice. They have both a 6 and 15 palette to fill, or you can simply buy the eyeshadows on their own. Here are some swatches of the colors I picked out!

Color Code Meaning:

  • CM: Cool Matte
  • CS: Cool Shimmer
  • WM: Warm Matte
  • WS: Warm Shimmer
  • MM: Metallic Matte
  • MS: Metallic Shimmer

Overall the shimmers had far better payoff than the majority of the matte colors, especially the bright, neon ones! Even the neon mattes had pretty decent payoff, especially that pink and orange!! When shipped, these do not arrive already packed in the palette, but each eyeshadow is in its own plastic container, so you can assemble the palette however you want.

Just so you guys know, Bh is having a sale for St Patricks day and all weekend (until the 20th) their entire product line is 20% off, so these palettes are $16 (6 palette) and $28 (15 palette) instead of $20 and $35.

Pretty colors but their international shipping is frigging expensive! From their website:
“Our International Shipping method is USPS Priority International (8-10 business days) $39.95.” I’d rather take 1st class and a cheaper rate.

Um actually it’s only $25. I don’t think they updated their site yet.

$25 is still fairly ridiculous though!

Those deep greens kinda look a bit washed out, are they supposed to? Sometimes it’s hard to tell if somethings not pigmented or if it’s supposed to be a sheer colour. I absolutely love the pinks and ornages though! :D

I bought my 15 just before this was posted found that the shimmers definately had better colour pay off but the mattes do as well if you build them and use a good primer.
