Benefit Complimenting Blushes & Glosses: Hoola

A few weeks ago, I got the cutest package from Benefit.

I kinda died. It’s so cute. I love cute PR packaging.

Inside was three sets of matching glosses and blushes.

Now, I love Benefit blushes. Love. I use Hoola as a bronzer all the time, and have a soft spot for Hervana as well. The glosses are what’s new to the Benefit family, debuting this month! Six new shades, all with the same name and similar color as existing blushes.

benefitglossblush Each Benefit blush comes with a really soft, square brush like this one- although I believe the one in Hoola has a blue handle!

benefitglossblushHoola is a warm matte brown that I love using as a bronzer. It doesn’t look dirty when applied, but gives a really nice contour.

Hoola Lipgloss is very slick and non-sticky, as well as being super sheer. If you like MAC Lip Gelees, these are right up your alley. You get a sheer hint of color and a nice “wet” look without dealing with the stickiness and goopy quality other lip glosses can have. I feel like these are a great summer gloss, as I really like to keep everything light in the summer, and I hate the feeling of thick lipgloss.. makes me feel like my face is melting off or something haha :)

Gloss available in July for $16 each from Benefit

Blush available now for $28 each from Benefit

Hi I am a big fan of yours Leesha <3 I was just curious about how you get such AMAZING products from companies! Do you personally ask them so you can review them or do they hunt for insanely talented people like you to send the products to? xx Thanks xx

I’ve seen people talk about this recently and the concept seems appealing but the swatches don’t really do much justice. I’d prefer something more pigmented really

I wish I got PR packages like that! That thing is adorable! Thanks for posting an on the lips swatch of Hoola. All of the other posts I’ve seen of it just have normal on the arm swatches which made me think it was a lot darker. I’m really tempted to go out and buy it now. :3

i have a ulta rewards system and get $3 off my next purchase. this item is on my hit list and i don’t want to pay the full price for a sheer lip gloss. would you say $13 is worth it for these? if i were to get one, i’d for sure get hoola because i have the bronzer and it looks good on me. but i can’t believe how sheer these are ;/
