Beauty Brands Master Class Recap

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of hosting a master class at Beauty Brands in Gilbert, AZ, and had a blast!

Beauty Brands Master Class Recap

I have previously hosted a meet & greet at Beauty Brands, but this time we decided to switch it up and do a class instead, which I actually really enjoyed. The class had about 15 people, and was all about tips and tricks to getting a perfect bold lip color. I had my sister be my model and showed how to apply liquid lip color for beginners, create crisp lines on the edges of the lips, and different ways to change up a color (like using a gold eyeshadow in the center of the lip to create dimension and a bit of shine!) After the demo, everyone got to try out the products I used and I went around helping out and seeing what colors they picked, and then everyone got to shop for a bit and were gifted super cute purses filled with samples :) We also had a social media contest, and one of the girls won a $100 gift card!

Beauty Brands Master Class

Overall the class was really fun. I saw some familiar faces from my meet & greet and had a great time teaching with some of my favorite products as of late- I featured the Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Bawse as my demo shade on Chelsea (Which looked awesome on her- in fact, I feel like it looks awesome on everyone I’ve seen it on) and applied it with an angle brush, my favorite way to apply it. I also used with their Clear Lip Liner to keep everything sharp.

To keep everything sharp, I used the Anastasia Pro Pencil around the outside of Chelsea’s lips after applying the lip color to fix any mistakes, and it worked incredibly well! I usually use concealer, but because this is such a sharp pencil it was the perfect product for this. We also used Stila Kitten Eyeshadow in the center of the lips for a little pop.
