Athena Wearable Wednesday

Athena was the goddess of wisdom, war, and crafts. I took inspiration from the wisdom part, and did a look that is super simple but beautiful on anyone, that takes very little time for those who may have to get up early for a demanding job, school, etc :)

Beautiful! Thank you for not skipping the eyelash curling, I really needed a how-to for that. Also, thanks for doing a look that’s not completely eye-centric. You’re very good at creating looks that are simple, but NOT boring — I always learn something (or in this case, several things) from your videos. :)

Beautiful!!! I agree. Can you please do more looks with the naked palette. I love this palette and I am so glad that I bought it. It was a great investment. I wear it all the time.

Quick question… I am interested in buying the Smashbox Under Eye Brightener. Do you always apply it after foundation?

if you want it to be more subtle you can apply it before, itll be like a glow from within :]

I love this look! You look beautiful (as always). I’m always really scared of blush though. I always feel like I over do it no matter how little I put. I end up wiping it off and just pinching my cheeks. It’s probably in my head. You’ve inspired me to invest in strada and play with it, it seems pretty subtle.

love this! I agree with the others, I would love to see more looks with UD Naked Palette! Also do you have any alternatives for a lip color similar to this for those of us who dont have the eve pearl palette?

I was just wondering if you could maybe do a post with your top 10 eyeshadow palettes/colors or favorite product by brand and put it in your toolbar or something. I’ve noticed some repeats like the Naked palette, but I think it would be a pretty cool resource, especially for people who are unfamiliar with some of the more obscure products. Cheers.

Love this look – my mother does too! I bought the UD Naked palette about a month ago and bought one for my Mom too – she’s very shy with makeup so this is perfect! I definitely agree with the other comments – we need more exclusive UD Naked tutorials!

Do you think you’ll be getting the UD NYC palette? I bought it – it’s gorgeous! I’d love to see the looks you could come up with using it! :)

This is such a nice look :3 I love it!
I find it like a coincidence that Athena was referred as the bright eyed goddess and in the pictures, your eyes look like bright diamond sky blue. I thought that was pretty cool >w<!

I’m really digging your goddesses looks. Some friends and I are working our way through Jean Shinoda Bolen’s Goddesses in Everywoman, and I shared this category with them. It’s kind of a cool way to say, “Okay, I’m channeling Athena today.” :)
