OCC Heroine Lip Tars

Lip Tar! My favorite lip product. Super concentrated formula provides the most pigmented color you can imagine using the tiniest amount of product. Beautifully applies with a lip brush (an angle brush is my favorite, you get crisp lines around your lips!) and easy to mix together to create a custom shade. By FAAAAAAAAAR, my favorite of this group is Black Dahlia. What a surprise that was applying it- I was expecting to look super dark and goth, but nope! Beautiful deep berry shade. It’s absolutely fantastic and perfect for fall. 

Lip Tars are $16 each for a tube you will never ever finish, and are available from OCC and Sephora.

    I just tried Strumpet for the first time. OHMYLANTA I LOVE OCC LIP TARS! I love the look of Lydia, and I hope the Sephora I work at gets them soon. I’m in Canada, so sometimes I’ve noticed we get things after the US does, in general.

    What’s the finish like on these? Are they as glossy as they look here, because I’m seriously loving the colours(!!) but I’m more of a matte person.

      They are satin-y matte-ish. Not glossy. Give them a try, you won’t regret it. (Well, your bank account might…but you need these in your life)

    How on earth are your lips so amazing? I barely ever wear lipstick because my lip are always peeling. I drink lots of water, and keep them moisturized. HELP?!

    I just gasped and wrote down the names of Marion and Lydia as must haves. Eek! Black Dahlia is incredible but I don’t think I’d wear it often but it is gasp-worth still. And I agree with Annnhaa – “your lip swatches are THE BEST! You have perfect lips!” do you have a lip care post at all?

    I just used my $20 Ulta coupon to get 2 Lip Tars and can’t wait to get them. Black Dahlia is on my must have list. Didn’t get it this time but it will be mine!

    I recently tried Memento and it went on horribly. The Lip Tar settled within the lines of my lips and dried on the matte-r side. Any tips or tricks?
    Btw, I don’t have old lady lips — I’m 29 :)

    I got seven lip tars last year and seriously these will last u forever. I gave two away in a giveaway coz I just knew Id never use those colors.
