Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencils

Urban Decay has added four new shades to their 24/7 Concealer Pencil line, as well as repackaging them into a much prettier design, that includes the shades and names labeled right on the outside.

These are creeeeeeamy! None of the shades seem to be an exact match for me, but DEA seems to be the closest. I think these would be perfect for keeping in your purse, or even better, in a clutch when you’re going out for a night. I am in no way, shape, or form a purse girl; generally when I go out during the day I have nothing but my iPhone, license, and debit card (which actually just sit in a little slot in the back of my iPhone case.. convenience at its best!) but when I go out on the weekends, I like to bring a little clutch to hold my camera, phone, and a gloss (possibly eyeliner or lash glue, depending on what my makeup is!) Something I always seem to forget is a way to touch up my skin, and this would be perfect for that. It’s a great size for a little clutch, and seems like it was made for on-the-go touchups.

    Do you think that this would be good for covering dark circles?

      I do think it would! it has great coverage, and since it’s so creamy it will just smooth over the delicate skin around the eyes, unlike thicker concealers that can weigh it down and make fine lines look 10x worse

    could you use that lightest one on your waterline? instead of a bright white, or is it not meant to go in your eyes like that?

    Leesha I need something to cover a scar on my forehead and eyelid. its pretty deep and textured. would these work or is there something else you might know of?

      i would try something from dermablend. that would probably give u the best results =]

      To fill in scars and pores I’ve learned that you should take a sponge, rip it in half, dampen it and use a cream product and stipple it in with the sponge. Works great when you get the hang of it :) mmmh not sure about raises scars, but try something a shade or 2 darker than your skin to try “sink” it in. Definitely don’t try covering raised scars with concealers/foundations lighter than your skin. Dermablend is definitely great for covering color discoloration but if you don’t need much of that then a cheap pot of Graftobian HD Crème foundation will do the trick :)

    Wait, I am confused. One pencil of each shade comes in the case, right? So, other than if you are a makeup artist, why could you want all of the shades??

    I think she meant the actually packaging of the individual product has been revamped to be more aesthetically pleasing.

    my mom bought one of these for herself and i looove it! super creamy, long lasting, and pretty good coverage as well. but since she’s not my skin colour, i decided to get one for myself to have in my purse as it is super practical for touchups. and it is a great way to save time when i’m running late and can’t do my complete concealer routine. however, all the testers at sephora were broken and, when i asked an assistant to sharpen them for me, they couldn’t do much as the tips kept breaking all the time. so, most of the product will end up being wasted. that really made me reconsider and, even though i was dying to get them, i don’t believe it is that good of a buy anymore.

    These look really good, Im always looking for new concealers to try out, I have no idea which shade I should go for haha :)

    I have been using the shade dea for about a year. I don’t know if they’ve reformulated it, but I love it. It’s really creamy for a stick concealer and I use it to cover acne scars. It covers them really well at first, I’ve noticed that when I come home from school (8 hours later) that the scars are fairly visible. Also, something to be aware of: the product will melt in a warm environment.
