Leesha’s Favorite Products for Blonde & Short Hair

It’s no secret that bleached blonde hair usually needs extra special care to make sure it stays shiny and healthy, just like it’s no secret that shorter hair styles usually require more products to keep hair from looking limp! I wanted to share what I currently love using to help my blonde hair stay healthy and blonde, not brassy, as well as my favorite styling products for shorter hair. Blonde Haircare Products:

Pureology Perfect 4 Platinum Line-This line is AMAZING for bleached blondes! I use the shampoo and conditioner every time I wash my hair, and the Miracle Filler is a must as a leave-in treatment.
Redken Anti-Snap- An amazing leave-in treatment to help prevent breakage.

 

Short Hair Styling Products

SkinnySkinny Dry Shampoo- My personal favorite, but any dry shampoo will work. Using this on clean hair helps to give that “2nd day hair” texture that’s much easier to work with. I personally like using the powder ones for this, not the spray ones.
Bed Head Mega Whip Marshmallow Whipped Hair Texturizer- Awesome for adding texture and body to your hair.
Bed Head Manipulator Pomade- Loooove this for piecing out my hair! I use it mainly on the ends.
Short Sexy Hair Shatter Finishing Spray- All-over spray to help add shine and keep everything in place.

Also mentioned- Metropolis Chopsticks Flat iron: it’s a 1/2″ flat iron that is reasonably priced and heats up fast! love :)

    I love the Manipulator! I’ve used it a lot over the years because of how well it works to give a piecey effect. Right now I’m mostly using Redken Wax blast on my hair for volume. There’s another product coming out soon by Redken that my stylist got a sneak peek of. It’s like a powder and you put a tiny bit on your hair wherever you want volume and then you rub it and it gives you amazing volume and texture!

    Dude it would be really cool to do a tutorial on how to use dry shampoo and conditioner, i’ve had a few friends ask me about it and stuff, and it would be cool to just refer them to a viedo. umm yeahh XD

    I just recently cut all my dreadlocks off and now have short bleached blonde hair, so thanks for all the tips. I’d forgotten how much fun playing with your hair can be – it made me giggle a bit how many different products you use, but I totally identify! I’ve got the bedhead manipulator, but I’m not a big fan, maybe I’m applying it wrong, so I’m going to try it on the ends instead (I found it too heavy on my really fine hair). Keep up the good work!

    Can you recommend a good hair dryer? I can style my hair straight or curly…with the right hair dryer. I’m considering the sultra sophisticate. Any thoughts about great hair dryers are greatly appreciated!! ;-)
