Fierce Friday: Glitter & Ice

Oh my gosh, today was one of those days I really don’t want to repeat! It started off with me having to get impressions of my teeth for invisalign (for an hour and a half, i think they had to do 7 impressions total because they messed up at least 4) followed by a trip to the Apple store, because last night I tripped on my concrete stairs  while holding my iPhone, and while it still works, the screen got completely ruined. An hour and a half of waiting later, Apple gave the me option of paying $200 for a new screen, or just buying a new iPhone for the same price, so I just went with that (although 4s seems like a waste of an upgrade, Siri doesn’t even work!)

Aaaanyways, After all that, I came home and filmed this look for you! I had just gotten the MAC Glitter & Ice collection in the mail on Wednesday, so this was a fun way to play with one of the palettes. Hope you enjoy!

Also, it looks like I FINALLY fixed my problem with Google Reader not showing my blog’s images, YAY! So, Hello to all you Google Readers, hopefully you can enjoy my blog again!!

    This is completely unrelated to makeup but…. if you ever break the screen of another iPhone you can order a new screen off ebay for like $20 and replace it yourself. As long as the actual phone is still working. My sister has done it twice (once for her, once for a friend).

    So that was because of GoogleReader, that’s good to know because I still have a couple of blogs with the same problem.

    I love this look, this is my favourite way of wearing a smoky eye- with as little as possible on the rest of the face. :)

    I’ve got invisalign, I’m closing the gap between my front teeth, they do ache when your first put them in but you’ll start to see the difference in days!! Good luck with them, they’re amazing :)

    Somewhat recently i found a umm icing eyeshadow palete and its so cool and well i liv here in kansas and there are 2 malls and we go to the one that does not have a build a bear workshop:P and they have kindof like and adult store of claires and its called icing and i got there icing eyeshadow palete and it is so pretty there is ALOT of cool colors but they look dark but when you apply them there lighter that they seem

    i wish i could do these make up looks. the peach fuzz on my face makes any makeup look instantly terrible so i dont bother doing anything.

    i feel the colors in this pallet are very similar to Wet n’ Wilds color icon eye shadow pallet called pedal pusher. the colors are wonderful. i always end up wearing these types of shades when going out. super pretty on you (as always)(:

    grrr iPhones break so easily! but there is another option, you can buy new lcd/touch screens online for waaaaaaaay cheaper than replacing the whole phone, and while it’s a delicate process, you totally could have switched it out yourself. you’re coordinated with your hands!

    I went to the MAC store and my lady that I always go to told me that Sketch from MAC was the same thing as the cranberry color.. totally not :( I’m bummed! I totally only bought it to do this look with. I might give it a try anyways, it’s sorta close but not really :(
