xSparkage Confessions of a Makeup Junkie
I have a looooong list of products I need to review and show up on the blog that have been on a waiting list for awhile, but this one gets to cut the line. I have known about this palette for a few months now, and I remember when I first saw photos of it online, I was instantly in love! Since I live with a serious Muppets enthusiast, it’s not really a surprise that the excitement for the upcoming movie has kicked in a little for me as well.
I was lucky enough to meet theBalm’s founder, Marissa Shipman, at the recent Beauty Social event this past weekend, and brought up the Palette I had seen online. She told me that it was a limited release, and only 1,000 palettes had been made, so it was pretty exclusive. You can imagine my surprise when she also said that they would have one of them shipped to me! So here you are, in all it’s glory, The Muppets “Cast Your Shadow” palette!

Each Palette is numbered, so you know that there is only 1,000!
The palette opens with two different sized tops- one that covers the shadows and has a mirror, and one that covers the cream blushes.

The names of the colors here are so cute, especially if you know anything about the muppets! As far as names go, my favorite here is Swedish Pancakes, simply because I looooove the Swedish Chef and I always feel ilk the doesn’t get enough spotlight :)
I’ve never used theBalm shadows before this, and I clearly have been missing out, as these are some of the most velvety, blendable, opaque shadows I have ever seen! I can’t wait to post some looks playing with this palette and really get a better feel for theBalm’s quality. I’ll keep you posted :)
