Something I have learned recently- Glitter is a serious PAIN to photograph!
Glitter is so dependant on the light hitting it at different angles to give that sparkle, that a photograph really downplays its awesomeness. It sucks. I’ll use glitter and in person it looks AWESOME, and in a photograph it looks like colored sand. No fun!
I apologise for this and all future glitter posts in reguards to the awesome-glitter-factor being mediocre at best, but trust me, at least for Lit Cosmetics, these are really fun and sparkly in person!

Before this, I had never used a neutral colored glitter. When I thought glitter, I immediately thought of bright colors and being super flashy.. my mind never thought “hey, glitter can be used in an everyday, wearable look!”
Because the film world is turning to HD, you start to notice glitter being used more and more on camera- it just looks better than shimmer, which can appear oily. I noticed this a lot when The Voice started their live shows- ALL the girls wore glitter, and it was gorgeous!
I recently did a tutorial titled Golden Beach Baby (appropriate!) and it featured this Beach Baby Glitter, and it was so pretty! The glitter was noticable, but not over-the-top, and looked awesome on the lids.

In the upcomming weeks Ill be showing you all some more glitter from Lit that I got in Vancouver. I got to meet their team at IMATS, and they are some of the nicest peopel around!
