This week is apparently nail week on xSparkage! I have been having a swatchapalooza of nail polish :) Right now I have the new Zoya Touch collection to share with you- three soft, yet full coverage nude polishes. Generally I completely skip over any nude polishes and head straight for the bright colors, but I actually really like these! I think part of that has to do with the fact that they are full coverage- you still need 2-3 coats to completely block out the whites of the nails, but usually nude polishes tend to be on the sheer side, which I think partially has to do with the fact that people like to use them to make their nail color look even if their nails have started to get a bit yellow from wearing polish all the time. Another reason I think I like these so much is because honestly, I can’t remember wearing nude polish before- as in, ever, and I really appreciate the subtleness of it. Now, on to the swatches!

Minka: is described as “a pale milky beige nude with yellow undertones and a hint of pearly silver shimmer”. This color has more yellow in it than I would have thought from the description, it kind of reminds me of the color of sweetened condensed milk, maybe a touch lighter. The photo of this on the Zoya website looks a lot more neutral than it is in person as well.

Shay: described as “A dense, fleshy light peach with slight orange-red undertones and a hint of pearly silver shimmer”. This is a color recommended for warmer skintones.

Pandora: described as “A medium pink-beige nude with blue and mauve undertones and a hint of pearly silver shimmer”. I liked this one as well because it has that super pale pink tone that makes it not quite nude, but still an incredibly subtle polish. This is actually one that I wouldn’t mind seeing sheer, just to give the nails a tiny something more than completely bare.
These are available $8 each or as a set of three for $24 from Zoya.com.
