I’m not sure if it’s because I swatched these super lightly so the design wouldn’t go away, or because I didn’t use a base on the back of my hand, but these swatched super lightly! I’m sure the coverage can be buildable, but it seems that these are intended to be a sheer wash of color on the cheeks, which is totally fine. Alpha Girl came out with Heatherette years ago (that was probably my favorite collection of all time, from the colors to the packaging, that collection was awesome!) I’d say these are worth checking out in person to see if they would be something you would use yourself. I can see myself using Light Sunshine as a pretty cheek highlight, and it almost seems light enough to be able to use on other areas of the face, like the bridge of the nose and forehead, without looking greasy.
These will be available for $25 on April 28 from MAC Cosmetics.
