Nails of the Day: Crackled Pink Lemonade

 

Ever since I saw the pink crackle from China Glaze, I wanted to try it over a bright yellow. It’s so pretty, its like pink lemonade! I used my favorite bright yellow cream, Illamasqua Wayward, which applies beautifully and is a great taxi cab yellow in just two coats. I wanted to add a bit of shine to show through with the yellow, so I used one coat of China Glaze Lighthouse over the yellow, which is a sparkly gold jelly. Last, I applied the China Glaze Broken Hearted Crackle polish, very sheerly and in all sorts of directions to get the different effects on the nails.
I really liked the way this turned out! Bright polishes look so fun peaking out of the crackles.
