MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipstick & Lipglass

No Bad Romance here. If anything this love affair’s going stronger than ever.. After the Monster Tour Mayhem, Gaga’s back to being our Viva Glam Goddess once again, spreading the good word about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women, men and children everywhere. We’re unveiling a hot new shade inspired by the Lady and her passions, in both lipstick and lipglass. And by now you (and the world) know every cent from the sale of a MAC Viva Glam goes toward the MAC AIDS Fund. The MAC World feels like a permanent part of the Gaga Galaxy, Doesn’t it?

I always buy the new Viva Glam colors, as they generally look good on any skintone and the entire profit goes to the MAC AIDs fund, so this was no exception. I was suprised though how much I liked these! The lipstick is Amplified formula, so it’s super creamy and feels really moisturizing on the lips. I was really expecting these to look a little too brown on me but they’re a really nice, flattering nude color without being too light.

These sell for $14.50 at any MAC location.

    I was also going to ask for a full-face picture. If not for this one, maybe just in the future? We basically have the same skin tone so it helps a lot :)

    Do you think this would look good on darker skin tones? Obviously not that I look like her… but maybe a Jessica Alba-ish or you know that kind of tan tone?

      I actually tried these on when I visited my local counter last week (I’m an NC42 if that’s a good enough reference). I personally didn’t like it on me; it was a little too light/pale for my lips and it made me look kinda sickly. The lady helping me was wearing it with her much fairer complexion, and it looked great. She said that sometimes with amplified creams, though, you need to let it set for it to look good. I didn’t buy it then, bcI bought the 1st Viva Glam Gaga gloss that they still had in stock, but maybe I’ll go back and try the 2nd one again, just because I don’t have colors like that in my collection.

    I bought this last week and I absolutely love it. I’m a guy so it’s really hard to find a lipstick that I love, and this is it. It’s a perfect nude and goes well with just the smallest hint of a blush. Mmhmm. Love.

    Those both look awesome! I don’t usually wear lipstick, but I’ve bought the last three Viva Glam lipsticks, and the last three lipglasses as well. The colors are great, and I like that the money goes to charity. So I’m definitely going to have to pick up at the lipglass at the very least–I think these shades are my favorite so far!

      I replied to someone above with my experience trying it out at the MAC counter. I personally didn’t like it at first, so i didn’t buy. but the lady said sometimes it needs some time to set and look good, so maybe i’ll go back and try it again.
