Give Me the 1st Dance is a high-shine metallic silver that looks as cool in the bottle as it does on the nails. I have loads of silver polishes, but this one is really pretty and gives that aluminum foil look that I really love in a silver polish. Like I’ve said before in other Nicole by OPI posts, I really don’t like their “perfect stroke” brush; it’s flat and wide, too wide for my nails, and I spend much more time trying to get off all the polish on the brush than anything else so that the polish isn’t flooding my cuticles because of the brush. This color also looks really cool with the OPI Black Shatter polish on top, the silver looks extra shiny showing through the flat black!

I just got a silver Zoya color that I did not want at all and they sent it by mistake (they would not correct it) now I wonder if it would like that since it’s similar in tone…you got me thinking

  If the color is Trixie… it is exactly the same. I actually put it on 2 days ago and I love it. I have shorter nails and I am not normally a huge fan foil-y silvers but it is really great. You only need 2 coats.

Am I the only one that thinks that My Lifesaver from this collection might be a dupe for Peppermint Patti from MAC? I wasn’t able to pick it up when it was out so I can’t confirm but it looks like it to me.

Sonia Kashuk just came out with new nail polishes and her “Smoke and Mirrors” looks just like this too. In fact i’m wearing it now. Got it at Target for like $3.50-ish. Plus it has a smaller (normal) brush that we love!

My only complaint: WHY is in the Justin Beiber collection? NOT EVERYONE LIKES HIM! And, it kinda chips easily XD.

Other: I LOVE this nail polish! I actually prefer the perfect stroke brush because it doesn’t take as long for me to paint my nails. It’s pretty quick, really. (: But the nail polish itself is AMAZING! I describe it as aluminum foil for nails, and my friends refer to it as that, too. Definitely my farouite nail polish <3
