Nails: OPI DS Magic & Step 2 the Beat of My ♥

I know virtually nothing about Justin Beiber. I’ve never listened to a song of his by choice, and the really the only time I can remember hearing him was at a movie theater, and I followed the cliche role of someone who doesn’t know who he is and had mistaken his song for a girl. I will say, though, that they had a little preview of his movie during a commercial on Pretty Little Liars last night, showing how at each concert they choose a girl from the crowed to go up and be serenaded too for a certain song, and I was in total AWWW mode, hahah. It was cute, the girls were so starstruck.

Anyways, I had heard about his collection from Nicole by OPI and wanted to check it out, and ended up getting about 4 of the polishes. Today I’m showing you Step 2 the Beat of My ♥, which is a clear polish with dispersed glitter and purple and pink hearts, over OPI DS Magic.

 

 

First off, I absolutely love the OPI DS Magic polish. I love all the Designer Series polishes from OPI, they’re all really unique and beautiful. This one is a deep ocean blue with purple and lighter blue shimmer to it.

Step 2 the Beat of my ♥ has a cool sparkle to it, but getting a heart on the brush takes a little effort, To be honest I kinda wish I didn’t pick this up, as it’d be easier and cheaper to just get some nail art brushes and some heart sequins from a nail shop, and put them on top of a polish. you get better control of how the hearts look that way, and the colors that are chosen.
