ORLY Cosmix Nail Swatches

I had heard SO much hype about this collection that I had to get it! I guess ORLY is following in OPI’s footsteps and taking away the cheaper online prices (boo!) so I had to act fast and got these while they were still cheap ($5 versus the normal $8-10) at head2toebeauty.

I really, really need to stop procrastinating and watch some camera tutorials or something, because every time I take photos it only focuses on a teeny bit. hmm. gotta work on that, hope these suffice for now!! :)

Hey! I love reading your reviews and watching your tutorials, so helpful and fun! I actually have the same camera as you (nikon d5000, right?) so i might be able to shed some light onto the whole focus issue. I dont know how much you know about photography but if you want more of the photo to be in focus you will want to use a larger aperture like f/16, f/22 ect… the larger the number the smaller the opening which makes more of the photo in focus. The smaller the number like f/2 or f/1.4 will be a bigger opening and less of the photo will be in focus. I know the d5000 has an aperture priority mode when you can pick what aperture the camera will use and itll adjust the shutter speed accordingly.
