Milani 3D Holographic Swatches

So I’m gonna hide while saying this, but there isn’t going to be a Fierce Friday this week :X I know there wasn’t Wearable Wednesday either, and it’s because this is finals week and since I took last weekend to go visit friends I’ve been a little behind. Sorry! Everything will go back to normal next week, promise :)

I guess one upside to this is that since I am horrible at focusing on things for too long (like finals papers, for example) I take lotsa breaks so I don’t want to shoot myself, and what seems to come out of that is lots of swatch pictures, so this weekend will probably be full of swatches, most being nail swatches as I bought a TON of polishes in the past few weeks from online, Ulta, and while shopping with my friends in Massachusetts :)

So first and foremost, right off the bat, let’s showcase these beautiful babies. I had told you guys in a previous Nails of the Day post that I could only find the Purple, Hi-Res, at my CVS. I was really upset because I looked high and low for these because I LOVE holographic polishes, so I was bummed. THANKFULLY, we happened to randomly go into a CVS in MA and they had them all! Rejoice!!

So so so so pretty. LOVEEEE Holos! These remind me of the China Glaze Kaleidoscope collection quite a bit. Big fan :)

    I have Digital and Hi-Res. I love Hi-Res so much. :) Milani pretty much did a great job with these. :)

    I do enjoy the Milani Nail polishes. Their nail art polishes are like half the price of the Sally Hansen ones and they work pretty great! I really like the purple swatch, I may get that one. I didn’t see them at my local CVS yet.

    I don’t get the point of holographic nail polishes. they just look glittery to me. But they are pretty!

      its hard to photograph, but they have a similar effect to like those 3d holo cards and kinda give off a rainbow effect in the light, its really cool but you definitely have to see it in person to really see it

    These are so hard to photograph. You can’t see all the colors in the polish. So beautiful, very much like a holographic sticker! I’m wearing HD right now. I was going to do some art, but it looked so cool by itself!

    I love these on top of creme nail polishes but these are only at CVS.

    I just bought HD. I LOVE it! I’ve read some reviews that claim it’s a bit sheer .. and this is true, if you’re only applying one coat. But, I have 2 coats, plus Out The Door Top Coat and my nails look AWESOME! I’m in love. I think I’m going to go back to CVS and pick up some of the other colors from this collection. :)
