Alright, so I think some people got a little confused/over analyzed what I said a little bit. In this video I talk about how important I think it is to have clean, even looking skin, when you are wearing eye or lip makeup. I got a lot of feedback from upset people saying that people don’t only notice flaws, that I’m insulting, etc etc. In the video I am simply talking about when you want to have crazy eyeshadow or a bright bold lip color. I go out all the time with no makeup on, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but if you are going to go all out with your makeup, I am a firm believer in having a even flawless looking skin to go with it, even if you don’t have that naturally. You most likely wouldn’t paint a picture on a canvas that was dirty, but a fresh, clean one, right? That’s the message I was trying to get across.
- Don’t forget Moisturizer/sunscreen!
- Eye Cream is super important for diminishing under eye circles/puffiness, and also helps concealer go on nice.
- I use a lighter, pink toned concealer under eyes
- Use a concealer that is exactly the same tone/color as your skin for blemishes and spots
- Set with a light powder
